Overview #

When a seller on the ProfiCircle platform does not offer assembly and installation services for their projects, they can initiate a subauction to invite other sellers to bid on these services. Here’s how the process works:

  1. Requesting a Subauction:
    • When submitting an offer to an auction, the seller can request an estimate on services he does not supply.
    • They then have the option to request a subauction for this project to invite other sellers to bid on providing these services.
    • Additional information may be required.
  2. Starting the Subauction:
    • After requesting the subauction, the platform initiates the process of starting the subauction for the seller as a buyer.
    • The subauction is created within the ProfiCircle system, allowing other sellers on the platform to view and participate in bidding for the assembly and installation services required for the project.
  3. Viewing Subauctions:
    • Sellers can view the subauctions initiated by them in the “My Projects” section of the sidebar menu on the dashboard screen.
    • Within this section, sellers can access details about each subauction, including the project name, status of the subauction, bidding activity, and any other relevant information.
  4. Participating in Subauctions:
    • Other sellers on the ProfiCircle platform can view the subauctions initiated by their peers in the “My Projects” section.
    • Sellers interested in providing assembly and installation services can participate in these subauctions by submitting their bids and proposals for consideration.
  5. Managing Subauctions:
    • The seller who initiated the subauction can manage the bidding process and review the bids submitted by other sellers.
    • They have the option to evaluate the proposals, negotiate terms, and select the most suitable bidder to fulfill the assembly and installation requirements for their project.

What happens with the subauction winning offer? #

Upon completion of the subauction process, where sellers bid on assembly and installation services for a specific project, the winning offer value will be seamlessly integrated into the main auction. This ensures that the total project cost accurately reflects all associated expenses, including assembly and installation services, providing transparency and clarity to both the seller initiating the auction and potential buyers participating in the bidding process.

By leveraging the subauction functionality within the ProfiCircle platform, sellers can efficiently procure assembly and installation services for their projects, fostering collaboration and facilitating the main project completion.
